GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES

A Christian businessman suffered heavy financial losses. He began to doubt the goodness of God. "Why did He allow these reverses to come to me?" he questioned. One night he sat dejected and discouraged in the library before the fireplace. His little six-year-old boy came into the room and crawled in his lap.

Over the mantle hung a motto which read: "God's works are perfect." "Daddy, what does perfect mean?" Before the father could reply, the boy asked another question, "Does it mean that God never makes a mistakes?"

The thought was just what the father needed. Enfolding the boy in his arms, he said, "Yes, my precious boy, that's just what it means!"

Confidence in god began to revive. Silenty he prayed, "O god, do forgive me for my misgivings. I give myself anew to You. Use me for Your glory!"
