After a long struggle with heart disease, singer/actor Andy Hallet passed away this Sunday at age thirty three. Most people will know him best as the green skinned karaoke singing empath demon Lorne from Angel, where he appeared in over 70 episodes. Lorne was one of my favourite characters in any of Joss Whedon's show, as he really represented what was so great and unique about Whedon's writing. Hallets bubbly and energetic personification of the character provided a ton of laughs as well as some great dramatic moments and, of course, many wonderful musical numbers.
