I havn't seen the original Tron, which came out in 1982, but I have seen it parodied in various cartoons. From what I understand, it's about people get trapped inside a virtual reality video game, and was one of the first movies to heavily utilize computer generated effects. I definitely plan of renting the movie at some point before the release of Tron Legacy, schedueled for 2010.
So keeping in mind that I haven't seen the first movie, I thought this trailer was pretty cool, although it's clearly targeted at fans. I have no idea what's going on, but the special effects are awesome, and those motorbikes are freaking sweet. Bring it on.
