Pro: It's a well edited, with a sleek look and some great sound design and music.
Con: All the young actors are far too pretty for there own good and are making me feel insecure about myself.
Pro: Freddy is one of my favourite slasher villains, and he's being played by a terrific actor in Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children, Watchmen).
Con: Produced by Michael Bay and directed by a first time director. The production studio is Platinum Dunes, who are known for butchering horror remakes.
Pro: The imagery in the dream sequences looks pretty cool and scary.
Con: "Who are you?"/"Remember me?" as an exchange makes absolutely no sense.
Pro: We get to watch all the young pretty people die, which is reaffirming...I suppose.
Con: Did I mention Michael Bay?
