What better way to re-enter the world of blogging than to post not one but two episodes of the LAMBcast, the first of which is so enormous that it would probably have to purchase two tickets if it wanted to fly. That's right, episode 15 is all about writer/director Kevin Smith, featuring a round-table discussion of all of his films as well as his role as an internet celebrity, comic, and how twitter and podcasting came into play during his recent feud with South West airlines. The LAMBcasters for this episode (aside from myself) were Jason Soto of Invasion of the B Movies, Nick Jobe of Random Ramblings of a Demented Doorknob, "Guy" of This Guy Over Here and Brett Woolgar of 42 Review.
Episode 16 deals with three different topics: Twilight, Tim Burton and the recent release of Repo Men. I wasn't on this episode, but it does feature some of your old favourites: Dylan Fields of Blog Cabins, Mike Mendez of Big Mikes Movie Blog, Travis McCollum of The Movie Encyclopedia and Nick Jobe of Random Ramblings of a Demented Doorknob.
The LAMBcast is the official podcast of the Large Association of Movie Blogs, and can be listened to/downloaded here. You can also find us on iTunes; just go to the podcasts section and search for "LAMBcast." And hey - while you're on iTunes, who don't you go ahead and either rate the LAMBcast or write a review of it. Better yet, do both! It'll help us get noticed by the overlords at Apple and earn worldwide fame...or something like that.
