When the trailer for the live action/3D animation hybrid Yogi Bear film hit earlier in the week - the one that has Dan Akroyd whoring himself out in a particular depressing piece of vocal prostitution - I thought briefly about writing a scathing piece about it (a la my reaction to the Smurfs trailer) before realising that I really didn't care enough to be bothered. However when this poster hit the interwebs today, it was clear something needed to be said.
You've got to wonder if the people behind this poster are secretly laughing along with the rest of us, or if they really have no idea how disturbing this image actually is. This movie was already going to be the victim of a million and one pedobear jokes, but positioning Yogi right behind Boo Boo like that...and with that expression on his face...
And seriously, who approved that tag-line. Did you not see how that could possibly be misinterpreted?
