With all the screaming Potter fangirls and boys you find on the internet, you'd think a cynical person like me would try and knock them down a peg. And you'd be right: under normal circumstance I'd love to. Unfortunately, this trailer looks freakin awesome, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is becoming one of my most anticipated films of the year. A few weeks ago, I uploaded a different trailer (which can be found here) that was really creepy and dark, almost like a horror film. This trailer on the other hand looks like a balls out action adventure film, and a really good one at that. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the fight scenes in Order of the Pheonix, and it looks as though Half-Blood Prince might be even better.
I do feel retarded for only realising now the Professer Slughorn is being played by Jim Broadbent. These movies always have a really strong adult cast, and he should be a fine addition.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will open in Australia on July 16th
