In relation to the article I wrote last week about Slumdog Millionaire Oscar win, I put up a poll asking what peoples favourite Best Picture winner was from the last few years. Well the votes are in and the results were as follows.
Slumdog Millionaire (2008) - 4 Votes
No Country For Old Men (2007) - 5 Votes
The Departed (2006) - 1 Vote
Crash (2005) - 0 Votes
Million Dollar Baby (2004) - 1 Vote
Return of the King (2003) - 3 Votes
Not really surprised that No Country came out on top; nor was it much of a shock to see so little enthusiasm for Crash or Million Dollar Baby. I was however surprised by the lack of love for The Departed. For anyone whose interested I would've ranked them (from most favourite to least favourite) like this:
