Legoland Florida update from the sky!

Wait! I want to clarify something before you start to read. We didn't go a crazy helicopter tour to take pictures (it would be too expensive, and... well, maybe a bit too dangerous), but we've studied some pictures taken from Google maps, that show very recent work being done on Legoland Florida!

Let's examine some of them, to see what's coming (pictures taken on December 2010):

First of all, here you are once again the high-resolution theme park map:

And, here's how the park looks from the sky:

In the parking lot, you can see that there are ride pieces that need to be installed (or sold):

There are even pieces of water slides:

This is where the new Legoland entrance will be located:

The "Island in the Sky" (Flying Island) is staying:

The 3-D Cinema:

On the far right there will be "Castle Hill", with the Dragon, while on the left, there will be the Egyptian area:

The area where the Egyptian dark-ride will be built:

The ex-Triple Hurricane coaster will become the Dino-coaster:

The Boating School must be already done (since these photos were taken last December). Can you see its layout?:

Yep, it's there:

The Flight School, inverted family coaster:

The new Pirates' show, that will be exclusive to our Legoland here in Florida:

And, here's a glimpse of the adjacent water-park. Legoland officials said that it should reopen later in 2012, because they want to focus on the theme park first (and I completely agree with them), but it looks like they've really abandoned it! Look how GREEN the water is!! It will completely ruin the pool and the lazy river! They really need to clean it:

All of this only adds excitement to this fantastic project! We really can't wait to see the park completed!
