New turnstile-free entrance testing at Epcot

A new way of entering the park is being tested in these days at EPCOT. Take a look:

New Entry Configuration Tested at Epcot

When guests arrived at Epcot this morning, some entered the park more easily, thanks to an experimental entry configuration being tested by Industrial Engineering. After scanning their tickets, guests could enter the park without separating from members of their party who had strollers or wheelchairs.
This preliminary test will provide insight into how our guests respond to this kind of entry configuration and whether it could simplify the park entrance process for our guests. The configuration also may give Main Entrance cast members a greater opportunity to interact with each group of guests, greeting and welcoming the entire party to the park. Such testing is a part of our ongoing focus on improving the overall guest experience, and items tested may not end up in the parks.
