In the past, Typewriter was a versatile tool for writer. Great writers like Mark Twain and Leo Tosltoy or Anton chekhov made a lot of money just by writing stories. Even in modern days now, women writers like JK Rowling - the author of Harry Potter and Diana Palmer - the author of Callaghan's Bride make money from home by being novelists.
You can do that too. To be a good writer, you have to be a good reader. If you want to make money by writing novels, you need to read novels. If you want write computer books, read computer books. By reading, you'll enrich your vocabularies, and get familiar with various kinds of writing styles.
Beside reading, you also must make writing as your daily activities. Make it as your habit. Once you have known your talent and your subject of expertise then you only need to write a book to be sold. Making money by being book author is possible for everybody.
With the advance of computer and word processor, writing books is very easy. You don't have to worry about making corrections or editing. Everything can be done with little efforts i.e. by pressing computer keys.
I write every day or now people say blogging. I make English exercises for my Englishland's website. I also write for my personal blogs which are Nature Lover and Free Expressions.
These blogs and website have helped me in making money from home. I still need to write more articles to maintain visitors. But I really believe that writing is a promising career for my future.
