Why the hell do we get so many movies about a lone-wolf contract killer on his very last assignment? And they always seem to be "the best" too. Seriously, there can only be one worlds top assassin. Then again there does seem to be a very high moral crisis rate amongst men in this profession, so I suppose it makes sense.
Aaaaanyway, here's the trailer for Anton Corbijn's The American. Despite what I just said I'm still pretty interested in seeing it, because Clooney is awesome in pretty much everything, the sountrack sounds cool and, well at the end of the day, assassins as badass. Which I guess is the answer to my question come to think of it.
The American will be in theatres in the US on September 1st
